Get Your DonorsChoose Projects for Books Ready! March 2-6 Match
Get your DonorsChoose book requests ready! This email has been sent to educators registered as librarians (and will apply to classroom teachers as well.)
"You might call yourself a librarian, but we know that’s just a codename. It’s the title we all keep using because “virtuoso curator of wonder and knowledge” is too hard to say casually.
The vital work you do each day is the reason we’re thrilled to share news of our first-ever 5-day matching event! Starting March 2nd, every project requesting books on DonorsChoose will be eligible to receive doubled donations.
Throughout the week, we’ll invite donors across the country to #FillEveryShelf for the amazing teachers and librarians who use our site (that’s you!).
So post your book project, and don’t forget to mention that you’re a librarian. It’s the only word that can possibly cover your many roles: community-builder, expert, teacher, and friend."
