Who was Crispus Attucks?
The Life of Crispus
Crispus Attucks was the first casualty of the Boston Massacre. Crispus was from Farmingtam, MA. He was born in 1723, and died March 5, 1770, in Boston, MA. Saddly Attucks was not married and had no kids. Crispus Attucks was a hero for being the first casualty of the American Revolution when he was shot and killed. Although Attucks was credited as the leader and the instigator of the event, historians still debate if he was a hero and a patriot, or a rabble-rousing villain.
