Math- We will be reviewing Topic 7 (meanings of division) today and will be taking the test on Tuesday. We will start Topic 8 which is studying division facts and getting to know fact families by relating multiplication and division.

Social Studies and Reading- We will be finishing our government unit by Wednesday! The kids have culminated their government discoveries by creating posters, which will be hanging in the hallway the next few weeks! On Thursday we will start researching for the international festival report. Students will be researching the location, climate, population, language, celebrations/holidays, popular foods, sports, music, and education system of their country.

International Festival

It is that time of year, where we need to start thinking about the 3rd Grade International Festival. You will be receiving quite a bit of information about this event over the next couple of weeks and throughout January.

Your child is bringing home an information sheet on the Festival. It is a blue piece of paper. Please ask them to see it!

We are having a parent planning meeting on December 11, 2015 at 11:10am. If you are interested in helping us plan the International Festival, and are able to attend this meeting, we would love to have you join us!

Happy Monday! :)
