Effective Initiatives for Early Intervention Opportunities
AI/VI MOU Online Module
Stephanie Isbell, Susie Tiggs and Meghan Glovier have been working hard to build the communication between Region 11 LEA's and ECI of North Central Texas.
First on our to do list has been to create a series of online modules addressing infants and toddlers with visual or auditory impairments served by ECI.
We have been anticipating the completion of the first module addressing the AI/VI MOU for some time, however this undertaking has snowballed into a much larger project taking more time than we originally planned.
The module should be ready for release late January to early February. This is intended to be the first of a series of ongoing professional development opportunities addressing the policies, procedures and practices related to this very individual population of ECI.
We apologize that we are pushing the release date, but we are working hard to ensure that the module contains the most current information and changes that are occurring within ECI. Please contact us if you have any questions that we may be able to address while you are awaiting the module's release.
Addressing your ongoing questions and concerns:
We would like for you to use the following form to submit your questions so that we can build a working Question and Answer document.
Please do not forget to scroll down the form and click on submit to send in your question.
This binder contains a vast amount of information related to evaluating and serving infants and toddlers with visual impairments. Please use this as a resource. It is continually being updated.
