Virtual STEAM Lab
Week of April 6, 2020
Journal Time!
I thought it would be fun to keep a journal of what you have been doing. I have been keeping my own journal since this all started and it’s kind of fun to go back and read through it. You can either type it in a Word document or write it on paper or in a notebook. If you write it, you can also include drawings. It doesn’t have to be every day. This is optional but we’ve never had anything like this happen in our lifetime and it would be interesting to read later. The inspiration for this came from this article.
We are making history!
In this weeks lesson...
Hi everyone! We have survived our first week of virtual learning! I can’t tell you how much I miss all of you. Hopefully we will see each other soon.
I’ve been thinking about the best way to do STEAM Lab and I came up with an idea that I really like. Since STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math I thought it would be fun to focus on one subject per week. We focused on science last week with our Signs of Spring lessons so this week our focus will be technology.
Below you will find several links to websites we have used in STEAM Lab. Please pick one per day for either mouse skills practice, keyboarding practice or coding.
Have fun!
