6th Grade Field Trip
Who: All 6th grade Ramsey students
When: Thurs., Mar. 31
Buses will depart Ramsey at 10:00 AM
Buses will return to Ramsey at 1:00 PM
Where: Skateville!
When are forms due to Foundations teacher: March 24
Cost: $15
Includes your skate rental, your lunch (pizza/chips/ soda), and transportation
Optional: Bring $3 cash to upgrade to rollerblades
Optional: Other snacks available for purchase if you bring extra money or for arcade games
Spring Sports
**All 7th & 8th graders may register and play up at the High School level if they choose to for the spring season. All students who choose to play up to the High School must have their own way of getting too the High School as well as picked up after practices or games from the High School. All the sport start dates are listed on the Central Online Registration form CLICK HERE.
**All middle school athletes can register and play up at the high school level if they so choose this spring. ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETES MUST REGISTER AT THE SCHOOL FOR WHICH ATTENDANCE AREA THEY LIVE. Middle School athletes that live in the Central attendance area need to register online here: 2022 Central Spring Sport Registration All of the sport start dates are listed on the form.
Once the student athlete completes that form along with attaching the proper paperwork (Current Physical and MSHSL Form, Both attached on the online form) they will receive an email stating that they need to come into the Central AD office room 1407 and pay the fee in person. All fees are to be paid in person at Central in the AD office room 1407 in cash or check made payable to "Central High School". All the fees and other information are listed and described on the online registration form. No athlete is allowed to participate in any sport without FULLY completing the process including paying the participation fee.
Literacy Corner
We have ten copies of the St. Paul Public Library's Read Brave adult selection What We Hunger For: Refugee and Immigrant Stories about Food and Family by Sun Yung Shin.
Please stop by the library if you would like a copy.
Check out the Read Brave website for discussion questions and a possible author talk.

Ultimate Frisbee
The official spring season for Ultimate Frisbee starts Monday March 14th and runs through the end of May.

Debate Team
Thank you to all who were able to join us for our end-of-the-year celebration for Debate Team on Thursday, March 17! It's been a great year! In addition, the MN Urban Debate League has finalized our last tournaments!
March 22 - All students are invited to participate in a shortened, virtual debate. Students should log in by 3:45 pm to RMSDebate on Google Meet this coming Tuesday. We will be done by 6:15 pm. Let Ms. Bannon or Ms. Hart know if you have questions!
March 29 - Our top 4 debaters from this season (Kiernan, Andorra, Eleanor, and Ella) will be competing at the citywide championship. This will also be held virtually. Good luck to our 4 championship debaters!

COVID Test Kits
We have COVID-19 home test kits available for students to take home (BinaxNOW). You can call the health office during school hours at 651-888-7657, then come to school to pick it up or we can send it home with your student while quantities last.
