Big picture

Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.


We have been learning about theme, please read books with your student and discuss the theme.

Academics

ELAR: We will discuss theme and folktales, as well as write about the time we had a difficult time doing something.

Math: We will review fractions in word problems.

Social Studies: We will discuss and identify landforms and regions on a map.

Science: Students will observe, describe, and record patterns of objects in the sky.

Reminders

January 29- Progress reports post in skyward

February 4- Mrs. Vicks Gender reveal- Wear pink or blue for your guess on what baby Vick will be

February 5- Wear your favorite football jersey

February 9- 100th day of school- (dress in a 100th day shirt or dress up as a 100 year old

February 10- Colors for caring day

February 12- Staff development- No school for students

February 15- President's Day - No school

March 12- Class/ spring picture day

-If you have any symptoms, are feeling sick of have been exposed please make sure to stay home and notify the school in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID.

-Please make sure to bring a mask every day

-Transportation changes need to be called into the front office.
