There are just a couple reminders for this busy holiday week from the PTA.

The Next General PTA meeting will be held January 19, 2016, in the Learning Commons, at 7pm. I encourage everyone to attend to learn about all the exciting PTA sponsored events in 2016!
Finally, a BIG Thank you to Elsie Ruele for putting together the 5th Annual MCES Spelling Bee. There were many, long hours and a lot of hard work logged by PTA members and MCES staff. Lastly, kudos to Lori Hohensteinfor stepping in to host and help with the event. Your help was much appreciated!
Hope you are all enjoying this holiday season! Happy Track Out to Track 1 families! Welcome back Track 2!
Winter Holiday Sing-a-long
The K-5 students of Middle Creek families are invited to participate in a WINTER HOLIDAY SING-A-LONG on Thursday, December 10th, 2015 beginning at 6:30 P.M, in the gym. This program is about 45 minutes.
The PTA will provide refreshments immediately following the sing-a-long.
The unrehearsed program will include music about winter (snow, snowmen, etc.), as well as a few Winter Holidays, such as Hanukkah, Las Posadas, Christmas and Kwanzaa. The words of the songs will be projected on the screen and students are invited to sing and play instruments as the song plays.
There are no rehearsals or preparation required. Join the Fun! Come and sing, dance and play with the other students, staff and parents for a night of enjoyment.
School Spelling Bee
All contestants did a great job, but a special recognition goes to this year's winner, Lauren LaRoche, and runner-up, Paige Cornelius.
Lauren will compete in the Wake County Spelling Bee in early Spring.
Great job, spellers!
