Hudson Bands Virtual Fall Concert

Virtual Concert Disclaimer
*Please also watch the videos your students are submitting. If we cannot see their face/body at all in the video, we did not incorporate it into the virtual concert.*
The recordings were due on Wednesday, October 21, however, we were able to use recordings that were submitted through Saturday, October 24 in the performance videos.
Mrs. Becker has worked from 6-10 hours per song/performance (there are 6 total) to compile this virtual concert. It has been a HUGE learning curve and isn't perfect. Thank you in advance for showing grace and gratitude for the effort that has gone into giving our students an opportunity to showcase their talents.
We found out late last week that we will not be allowed to have live audiences for the rest of this semester, so our holiday concert will be done in the same format. We have already learned so much and have plans to make the next one even better! We hope you'll join us in December too.

**Progress report grades lock at the end of this week - turn in any/all missing assignments.**
T-Shirt Delivery for Face-to-Face Students
Students who have not paid their band fees in Charms through PayPal are welcome to bring cash or checks (made out to Hudson Band Boosters) in a sealed and labeled envelope by Thursday afternoon to receive their shirt on Friday.
We will be wearing our new shirts when we record our next virtual concert, so forms and fees are necessary.
Please contact us with any financial worries - we will work with you however we can!
2nd Quarter Materials Pickup/Registration for Virtual Students
Saturday, Oct. 31st, 1-4pm

You will receive music/materials for the rest of this semester (which will be performed on our holiday concert in December), fill out/turn in band registration forms, pay band fees, and pick up your new band t-shirt. We will wear our band shirts at the next concert, so attending this event is necessary.
Students who have submitted band forms and paid fees already will stay on the right side and of the road.
**Please check your Charms account to confirm fees and forms have been received.**
You will quickly receive music/materials and your shirt.
Students who need to submit forms and/or make band fee payments will stay on the left side of the road. We will have forms available for you to fill out and our Booster Club treasurer present to accept cash, checks (made out to Hudson Band Boosters), or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover only) for the $30 fall band fee (or lesser amount if you are returning student with a credit).

This is new for our school and a great honor to be named Teacher of the Month by the students! | WS Percussion Region Recordings Wind Symphony Percussionists are invited to sign up for a time slot on Saturday, October 31 to use the school instruments and recording equipment to submit their All-Region audition recordings. Helpful Info/Reminders
Charms Resolution
Log in to Charms using the school code hudsonsoundmachine and your student's password. Passwords for brand new students should be the student ID with 6 digits only. If you cannot get logged on, please contact Mrs. Becker. She has discovered a new way to reset passwords!
You can click the "finances" button and pay fall band fees using Paypal. If you have logged in and are paying band fees, but your student has a credit on their account, the easiest thing to do is to make a miscellaneous payment. You can specify what the payment is for since it will be for the remaining balance and not the entire Fall fee. Then you can "request a transfer" of that payment to go to the fall fees.
School-owned instrument fees will still be paid in Skyward this year. We are having a little trouble getting that set up correctly since this is a change from previous years. We made some headway last week and hope to be completely set up by the end of this week. Stay tuned for more info!
