Rosenbergs to Billie Holiday

The Rosenberg couple were assued of passing atomic bomb secrets to the Soviet Union and were executed on June 19, 1953, leaving their sons, Michael and Robert, orphaned. They were adopted by Abel Meeropol, a high school teacher and social activist. Under the alias, Lewies Allan, he wrote the song "Strange Fruit" saug by Billie Holiday, which then became famous.
