ATKINSON ELEMENTARY
BACK TO SCHOOL UPDATE
On July 30, 2020 the Coweta County School board voted for school to begin on August 13th with a virtual model. While we recognize that there are mixed feelings on this decision, we want to take a moment to reassure you that the staff at Atkinson is committed to continuing high-quality and engaging instruction. Teachers report back Monday, and we will work tirelessly to make this the best school year possible for our amazing students and families!
Empower registration reopens today
Empower registration will reopen today and stay open for one week. If you want to resume face to face (F2F) instruction once it is approved, you do not need to sign up for empower. We will all start virtual, so signing up means you would like to continue online for the semester, even after face to face instruction begins. Coweta's Empower update - Watch Video

We are currently working on a drive through plan for students to pick up chromebooks as well as workbooks/etc. This plan will be posted on our school website, Remind 101 and our school facebook page. At the end of next week, teachers will begin contacting parents and students through emails, phone calls or Google Hangouts before school begins in order to introduce themselves and welcome them to a new school year.
School Meal Pick-up/Delivery
Coweta County Schools Nutrition is excited to offer distribution of bulk meals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please use this link to sign up.
Thank you for trusting us and supporting us as we start this journey.
