Grades 3-5 GT Summer Camp

The GT Department is happy to announce the pilot of a summer camp designed specifically for GT-identified students. After receiving feedback from our GTPAC on potential dates, locations, tuition cost and areas of interest, the GT Department has decided the camp will be science-based and will serve students enrolled in grades 3 through 5. The camp will be filled with innovative and creative experiences, as well as opportunities for field experiences. This pilot will be available in the summer of 2023 with the intention of expanding to other grade levels and will provide additional opportunities in upcoming summers.

The District will be sharing summer camp registration information, dates, locations, and costs later this spring. We are excited to be bringing this hands-on experience to our GT students. Stay tuned for more information.

GT Family Series: "It's Cold Outside"

If you registered for the Winter Family Series Challenge "It's Cold Outside," please remember to submit your videos by Friday, January 13, 2023! We are looking forward to seeing the entries!

GT Learning Plans

During January, students will review their GT Learning Plan goals to clarify their next steps and make any adjustments necessary to meet their goals. Parents can support the GT Learning Plan goal review by asking reflective questions to help your child focus on the steps needed to accomplish their goal and provide positive reinforcement to encourage your child to continue on the path to success.
