This week's BUZZ
Week ending June 12, 2020 (#13 Final week virtual learning)
Congratulations Saint Anna Graduates!
It has truly been a pleasure getting to know the students, teachers, parents and families this, my first year at St. Anna School. What a wonderful sense of community we have (and COVID19 did not put a stop to that). I am so proud of you all. Parents, Students, Teachers, and Staff! We all have been handed something we were not prepared for. Virtual learning was new to us. We did so very well without interruption. Students, parents, and teachers seized the day! We persevered and came out on top. I am so proud!
It was great to see so many during tech drop off. The PTO has Part of the Pack signs for pick up for those of you that were not able to get one yet. If you missed getting one. You can stop by the office any T,W or TH. 9-1
Here is the challenge-- Take a pic of yourself over vacation in your SAS tee w/ the Pride sign and send it to email@example.com. We will be sure to share it with our SAS community! I can't wait to see everyone w/ their signs! GO TIGERS!!
Be a part of the pack! Show your SAS SPIRIT :-)
Congratulations to all our academic award recipients! We are So proud of you!
If you missed our pick up day & Tech drop off.....Call the office to arrange for pick up.
THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES K-7 is June 12th. For those needing to submit late/missing work, it may be submitted up until Wednesday. Report cards will be distributed on 6/19 to allow extra time for those needing to submit missed/late work and for teachers to gather, record, and submit grades. If you are unsure if you are missing work, check out option c or reach out to your child's teacher. Wednesday is the deadline to submit work!
Student registration * Tuition Invoices * Referral Incentive
Registration is underway! Tuition invoices have been sent. We want you to know that we understand the sacrifices and balancing act that everyone has had to endure. We understand the financial burden placed on families and on our school and parish. We want you to know that we are strong, that we will continue to offer an exceptional academic environment whether in or out of the classroom. We will continue to grow as a close community because we are all committed to St. Anna. WE are planning on opening our doors in the fall and look forward to seeing you.
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO AND ARE PLANNING ON COMING BACK TO THE BUILDING IN THE FALL. We look forward to being together again. There is a chance that it or part of it could be virtual. That the virus may come back one we begin or that we there will be limits as to how we come together? What changes can we expect? These are all questions that I know you are thinking about and I am too. Unfortunately at this point, it is unclear. We will continue to work with the Dept. of Health and Human Services, the Worcester Diocese and the City of Leominster to ensure safety for all.
No matter how it will look, we will still have our close knit community to connect to.
Tuition invoices and Financial Aid Awards have been distributed. If you have any questions, contact Beth in finance at 978-537-5293. For those wishing to receive 3%off by paying in full, the deadline for that has been extended until July 15th. For those of you facing hardship, please don't hesitate to contact myself or Fr. Carlos. We are happy to talk with you.
On behalf of the St. Anna community, we all look forward to seeing you in the fall.
Enjoy the summer, send a pic, read a good book, and practice your math facts!
Love to you all!

Map testing is an great tool that helps teachers to see the needs and proficiency of their students and adjust their plan to meet their needs. MAP testing will be scheduled the first several weeks once we return to school. We have all been away from the classroom and this will be a great tool to ensure that will allow us to meet our students where they are. This is an opportunity to allow our teachers and you our parents to see how our students are doing as we plan to meet our students needs this year.
