Mission Possible News!
Blast off to Learning! August 12-16
Welcome Back Gator Crew Members!
This staff newsletter will be structured to give you important information each week to help us stay on the same page as a campus, and further our mission with our students. Please read your "Mission Possible News" and save any important dates or info that pertains to you! You can find a detailed weekly schedule below (thank you to Ms. Skinner!) and you can also access our calendar on our Schoology page. If you have any questions, or an idea to share with staff, please reach out!
I want to hear from my Gator Crew!
Come by and have a chat anytime my door is open! If it is closed, I am in a meeting or working on something with a deadline; but open you can come in! Come say hi, come tell me a little about you, or feel free to come ask questions about me!
Team talks: I would love to sit down with each team during a planning time and chat with you about your team, your students, and your needs. Team leaders- please let me know the date and time I can come meet with your team in the next few weeks (does not need to be this week, it will be too crazy!) if you have a common planning time (grade levels), and if you don't, please let me know if your team would like to meet together or share through you. I am good either way!
Positive Attracts Positive (the opposite is also true...)
The same goes for each other- do you smile and say good morning? Do you greet others in the hallway during the day in a positive and friendly way? Do you offer help when you see it is needed? Do you say goodbye each day? Little things like this can make the world of difference during these stressful days, because it lets us know others see us, they care about us, and we are a team. Teaching is truly a team effort, and everyone, from custodians to administrators to teachers to nutrition staff to the front office make this village successful!
Make it a personal goal to be emotionally aware of what you might be giving off, and if you are having a bad day, find your close circle and vent or whatever you need to do, but separate it from your daily interactions. We can't let the negative outweigh our positive. Just think- your are so blessed to have woken up this morning, in a bed inside a home, to have access to running water and food to eat, to have transportation to get to work, to have work...the list goes on and on! :) Time to spread that joy around! :)
