Christmas Card Orders

Your child will be bringing home their Christmas Card template today. All payments need to be made on ParentPay by Friday 8th October & the template with the order needs to be returned to school so we can send it off for printing.

Harvest Festival Service 4.10.21

We are all really looking forward to finally being able to worship together again in church at Monday’s Harvest Festival (9.30am). Please can the children bring any food donations for the Selby Food Bank (tins, dried food, packets, etc) to school on Monday morning. They will then be taken to church for collection. Parents can attend the church service too.

Open Evening 13.10.21

We are holding an open evening for prospective families on Wednesday 13th October, 4.30pm – 6pm. This is a very informal “stay and play” event where children can have a look around our EYFS classroom and play with our toys. We will even have free pizza available! Do please share this with any families that you know who might be applying for a school place in the near future.

Macmillan Coffee Afternoon 15.10.21 - donations please.

Just a reminder about our forthcoming Macmillan Coffee Afternoon fundraising event to be held on Friday, 15th October. Please bring in all your goodies on the day to help make this the best year ever. A range of drinks and cakes will be available from 2.30pm - 4.30pm for you to purchase. Please come along - we’d love to see you. This is also a voluntary non uniform day, children can come in casual clothes for a £1 (cash) donation on the day.

Individual Photographs 22.10.21

Adventure Photography will be in school on 22nd October to take the children's photographs, they will have an individual photo as well as one with any siblings who are also at our school. .


Thank you to everyone who attended the PTA AGM on Tuesday. The minutes of the meeting are available on our website. The new chair of the PTA is Jemma Denham. Do look out for exciting events that are being planned for later this term.

Halloween Spooktacular- PTA Event - 22.10.21

We are delighted to tell you about our forthcoming Halloween PTA event. This will be an open air event and will take place on Friday, 22nd October (6pm - 8pm) There will be a pumpkin-carving competition and display, with prizes for each class winner. Children are encouraged to come in fancy dress and enjoy a range of craft activities available. Tickets cost £3.50 per adult and £1.50 per child, please purchased these on ParentPay. (Price includes pie and peas for adults, hotdog for children.) The PTA will also be running a bar, with a range of drinks available. We are delighted to be able to hold PTA events once more and help to raise valuable funds for the school. Please come and join in the fun! Remember to write your child's name and year group clearly on the bottom of the pumpkin and bring it to school the morning of Friday 22nd October. We will be lighting the pumpkins up for the evenings event.

Parent Volunteers

We hope to be able to welcome volunteers into school after half term. However, any previous DBS check will have now expired and will need to be renewed. If you intend to volunteer to help in school on a regular basis in future, please contact the office so that we can begin the process in applying for a new DBS.

This is our new menu for September - children now have a vegetarian option to choose from as well as the main meal, a jacket potato or a sandwich.
