Monday is the FISD Virtual College Fair and the kickoff to the first Future Ready Focus Day of the 20-21 school year! Tomorrow (9/14) and Thursday (9/17) are both college shirt or military shirt and jeans days.

Texas Education Agency allows students the option to change their learning preference every grading period. If you are the parent/guardian of a Virtual Learning student and you wish to return to onsite instruction for the 2nd 9-weeks, please login to Skyward, click on "Online Forms" and complete the Learning Commitment form as soon as possible. The form in Skyward must be completed no later than Friday, September 25th at 11:59 p.m. if you wish for your child to come back face to face for the 2nd 9-weeks, which will begin after Fall Break on October 19th.

In preparation of increased enrollment numbers in our face to face classes and an effort to keep class size numbers low in order to follow social distancing guidelines, we will be changing the master schedule this week to go in to effect Monday, September 21st. We will notify you this week if your child's teachers will change. While we want to keep as many of the students with their current teachers as we possibly can, schedule changes happening each grading quarter are inevitable and necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

In addition to our campus jean days with spirit shirts, FISD has added Future Ready Days where students can wear jeans with a college or military shirt to show that they are future ready! Please see those added dates below.

Grab & Go Meal service is available for purchase for our virtual students. Families are welcome to pick-up breakfast and/or lunch at any campus in our district during the following times:

Elementary: 8:15 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.

Intermediate: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Middle: 8:45 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.

High: 8:50 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
