Module 17 Overview

English IV

Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginning's End

It's almost time to move on from high school and transition into the next part of your life. Endings and new beginnings often bring out much reflection on your life and sentiments that evoke feelings of excitement, trepidation, a solidifying sense of self, and even a bit of wonder. As we round out the year in English IV and our study of British literature, I want to point you two two final pieces of poetry from the British Lit Cannon: Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, and To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time.

These two pieces will be the catalyst for your final assignments and creative writing pieces in this module. There are a total of three assignments.

"You Do Not Have to Be Fearless, Just Don't Let Fear Stop You."
