Speech Tournament Update

7 students from the Speech and Debate team came to school for 20 hours this weekend to compete in the live online Robert D. Clark Invitational. The students presented their pieces through Zoom alongside many other schools.

Every student that participated made it to finals or had a final round if their event did not have enough participants for a proper finals event.

We had two students, Maya Tulles and Peyton Simonds, participate in Debate this tournament, and they competed in 4 rounds of parli.

Hallie Minkler, Daniel Cabrera, Maya Tulles, Maddie Pahls, CJ Kilcoyne, and Ben Stufflebeam competed in their Individual Events.

The results:

1st HI- Daniel Cabrera

1st DI - Daniel Cabrera

2nd DI - Ben Stufflebeam

Finalist Junior Impromptu- Maya Tulles

Finalist Junior Radio - CJ Kilcoyne

We are so proud of the hard work these students put in this weekend! They get a three-week break before they head to Medford, March 12th and 13th, for National Qualifiers!

Sincerely,

Assistant Speech Coach- Ms. Ashley Pearson

You can also support us whenever you use you Rite Aid rewards card. Just follow the below link, and our school will receive cash back whenever you shop at Ride Aid.
Student Hand Book

Please take some time to review our student handbook with your student. We would particularly like you to remind your student of our expectations with regards to cell phones and appropriate technology use.

Cell Phone Policy

Just a reminder, students are not allowed to have cell phones out during school hours. We require them to be kept off and in their locker or backpack during the day. This includes breaks and at lunch. Please encourage your student to come to the office or their teachers if they have a concern or need help instead of reaching out to you via cell phone during the day. This way we can help make sure that all your student's needs are being met. We have a student phone available in the commons that is always available.
