Recently released-Continuous Learning Guide

Important Information Regarding Continuous Learning Plan Development-Attention Required

Pursuant to Executive Order 20-16, issued on Thursday, April 2, all public school districts, charter schools, and eligible K-12 schools, as defined in I.C. 20-51-1p-47, shall submit a Continuous Learning Plan to the Indiana Department of Education. Explicit directions and the links for the template and submission can be found here. Continuous Learning Plans are due April 17.

IDOE partners with Indiana Public Broadcasting Stations (IPBS)

COVID-19 Weekly Webinar for School Leaders

Learning Keeps Going from ISTE

ISTE launched LearningKeepsGoing.org - a site with tips for online learning and a directory of hundreds of vetted ed tech tools that are completely free for schools/families for the rest of the year.


Purple Star School Designation

The Indiana Purple Star School Designation honors schools that have displayed a significant commitment to service members, veterans, and students and families connected to our Nation’s Military. The Indiana Department of Education will honor the first cohort of schools earning this designation in the Fall of 2020.

Application deadline is May 25, 2020.
