Whew that is a mouthful! We have paired three great books with three great recipes for meal -in-a-mug. We encourage you to read the books before participating in the cooking event. Debate to Rule the World!

Batman for President? Harry Potter? Who? Teens nominate your fandom’s leader .Who is qualified to rule the world? Answer our call to debate your fandom’s leader’s qualifications to lead the free world. Get a team together, dress in costume, and be prepared to persuade a group of judges as to why your candidate deserves to rule the world! As all debates, we will conclude amicably and with snacks. Email Blackm@evergreenparklibrary.org or sign up online to reserve a spot for your team. Once enrolled, you will receive the rules and questions.

Writers & Artists Needed!

The library seeks teens writers and artists to collaborate on a teen library blog. Our first meeting is November 1st at 7pm. Teens will be invited to submit ideas for a winter art contest, write reviews for books and music, and share community news. Ronald McDonald House Teen Outreach

Saturday, Nov. 26th, 11am-2pm

Oak Lawn, IL

The library is looking for 6-10 teens to help us prepare and serve lunch at the Ronald McDonald House in Oak Lawn. Teens meet at the house at 11 am.
