Description of Task
I will be teaching you how to edit line work on a software called MicroStation. You will be observing aerial imagery and look for areas where the line work is not lined up with plainimetric lines. This line work is later on used for the calculation of storm water charge for every property based on the area enclosed in lines.
Rationale
I chose to teach you this task as I feel it is the least tedious out of my tasks. Also, it is an immense part of my daily routine.
Observing Aerial Imagery and Editing Line work
1) Open MicroStation
2) Click on Impervious Maintenance in top menu bar
3) Sign in using username: devinf password: devinf
4) Select lines and ensure plainemetric is turned on
5) Zoom into where you see orange or pink lines are not lined up with white dotted lines
6) In toolbar on left side of screen, select delete vertex
7) Delete vertex's that are not lined up with white dotted lines
8) In toolbar on left side of screen, select insert vertex
9) Select the line and drag it onto the dotted white line vertex to match two lines up
10) Zoom in and ensure lines are completely matched up
11) Continue dragging line onto white dotted line using insert vertex tool until lines are completely matched up
12) Zoom out and ensure all verteces are lined up

Look for line work not lined up with planimetric lines (white dotted)

Use highlighted tool (insert vertex) in modify - main task toolbar to line up orange line with white dotted line

Line work is now lined up with planimetric lines
