BHA Update
December 6, 2022
Dear Parents, Assalamu’alaikum.
We are in December already and winter break is approaching soon! Campuses are alive with clubs and activities alhumdulillah! Students are encouraged to keep up with all work in order to go into winter break with no missing assignments insha'Allah so families can enjoy their time together.
Covid cases are on the rise again, along with the flu, and students are requested to be conscientious and considerate of others when sick. Pease stay home if you have flu-like symptoms or feel unwell. Be extra cautious if a family member is sick. Students have had to be pulled out of class to be sent home early in these last few weeks and we want to avoid it as much as possible. It not only inconveniences the student and the parent, but also puts other students and staff at risk for an outbreak in school. We are being very lenient with attendance and make-up of missed work so students don't feel pressured when missing school because of illness.
On a positive note, congratulations to our Tigers Robotics teams for making it to the Regionals and doing a commendable job on Sunday, Dec. 4th! Tigers 5th, Tigers 7th, and Tiger Siblings, we are proud of you! Thank you to our Junior Coaches for getting the teams ready and doing an excellent job, masha'Allah! Go Tigers!
Last but definitely not the least, our seniors were very busy finishing their University/College applications last week, refining applications and polishing essays to meet that November 30, midnight deadline. May Allah accept all their efforts and accomplishments and grant the best college for each students’ success for this world and the hereafter. Do keep them in your duas.
We wish everyone a productive and healthy week! Jazakum Alahu khairan.

Reminder - Middle/High School Phone Policy
AG campus would prefer that students do NOT have phones on campus. However, it is acknowledged that since parents are sending children to school with these phones, this is what they want. In order to minimize the problems that arise with the phones, this is the policy which is in place:
Any phones brought to school must always be INSIDE THE BACKPACKS, with the sounds off unless a teacher has specifically granted permission for a good reason and is supervising the use.. The phones should not be in pockets where they are vulnerable and easy to use.
Following this rule will also keep phones out of the bathrooms during class time.If any student is found to have a phone out in the restroom, they will also be asked to turn it over.
Students should immediately turn over visible phones to any staff who asks them, and they will be kept in the office until a parent picks them up.
Jackets/Personal Items - Names Needed
Let’s not let the Lost & Found bin pile up again. Parents, please use permanent markers and write names on all jackets and outerwear so that left over items can be returned to their owner.
This also goes for water bottles, lunch boxes–anything that can get left behind at school.
