Big picture

The Hub on Canal is located in the heart of the Arts District in NSB. Now 10 years old in 2022, The Hub is home to about 65 local and regional artists. Sixteen have working studios. We stand out from typical galleries by the nearly constant presence of artists creating in our space. Since the beginning we have embraced all the arts, so monthly live music, occasional theatre and regular cinematic exhibitions provide something for everyone. We deepen our connection with the community by offering a wide range of classes and workshops. The Hub has developed into a Canal Street destination. As of mid-2022 we've welcomed more than 350,000 visitors since we opened.

Heather Wolynic

Big picture

My name is Heather Wolynic and I was born and raised in Commack, NY. We moved to Florida in 1995. I earned my BFA from SCAD, specializing in Visual Arts and Communications. I have over 13 years experience as an arts educator, in both primary and secondary school. In those 13 years in the classroom I taught drawing, painting and mixed media projects, as well as graphic design, yearbook classes and broadcasting. Most recently, I taught art for 8 years in Ormond Beach and visual arts to high schoolers for another 3. My capabilities range from graphic and fine arts to social media, marketing and scenic art for Disney World. I would love the opportunity to give your child the ability to tap into their creative gifts. Art encompasses so many areas of a child's life. It helps with attention to detail, manual dexterity, decision making and boosts self-confidence. I look forward to working with your student!
