Thoughts from Dr. Voelkl...

This week marks testing week for all of our students in grades 3-8. While these types of assessments provide just one piece of the puzzle related to the overall growth and progress of of our students we still want to ensure they are able to "put their best foot forward." A good night's sleep, a healthy breakfast and a positive morning pep talk are all at the top of the list for quick and easy test taking tips.

Tests are administered to students in grades 3 through 8. While we want to be able to collect this information on every child, we also want to ensure we are maintaining a safe and healthy environment. There are guidelines and procedures in place to allow for tests to be made up or even just portions of them should your child need to miss due to illness. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

THANK YOU for all you do EVERYDAY to ensure your child's success!

Continued prayers and blessings,

Dr. Voelkl

NURSE NOTES

THANK YOU for your continued support in keeping our building healthy! Don't forget to bring water bottles and masks to school each day. Some of our primary kiddos have a difficult time keeping paper masks on the right way. If you have cloth ones they are comfortable they tend to do a better job with those. PLEASE also remember to ensure masks get cleaned and washed on a regular basis.

Special request! We are in need of both child size and adult size masks. If you can donate any we would greatly appreciate it.

If you have any COVID related updates that arise over the weekend please email nurse@borromeoschool.com.
