Red Ribbon Week is Coming (October 29 - November 2)
October 29-November 2nd, is Red Ribbon Week at Ebinport Elementary School! Our theme this year is “Life is Your Journey, Travel Drug Free!” Please discuss with your child the importance of saying “No!” to drugs and have them name things that they can do to keep them busy instead of doing drugs. Please encourage your child to participate in the optional “fun” dress-up activities each day.
The weekly activities are as follows:
Monday, October 29: Wear red to get our Red Ribbon Week started. Please wear your red shirt with dress code bottoms.
Tuesday, October 30: Dress in your favorite tacky tourist wear! OR Dress in your favorite tropical print (think Hawaiian print, leis, straw hats, fanny packs, etc.).
Wednesday, October 31: Students dress as their favorite book characters today! (Just like life will take you on a journey, so will a good book).
Thursday, November 1: Wear your favorite hat, as we put a cap on drugs!
Friday, November 2: Today we will celebrate our favorite sports and activities while remembering how much fun we can have without drugs and alcohol. Wear your favorite jersey or t-shirt that represents your favorite sport or activity!
