Hello Bryant Families

As the weather continues to be unpredictable, please be sure to send warm clothing and snow gear with your children each day. They will go outside unless it is below zero or the air quality is poor. The picture below is from the student handbook on recess and weather policies.

Food Service Links For This Week

Good morning all,

As of now less than 100 people have filled out the winter break food needs survey, and we are serving over 800 kids every Wednesday. If we do not get enough people letting us know yes or no, we have no way of knowing how many meals are needed!

Please do not forget to add the links below to the body of the email so all media platforms can access these if they cannot use the PDF.

Halloween Celebrations at Bryant

We are so excited to be able to participate in some Halloween activities with our students. Please review CDC guidelines by clicking on this link. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html#halloween

We must follow all district health standards. There will be no parades or traveling between grade levels. Each grade level will plan their own classroom activities and be sure to communciate those out to all of you before next week. Here are some general items for information:

- Student Group A celebration will be on October 27th (Tuesday)

- DLI students may swing by the main office on October 28th (Wednesday) to pick up treats

- Student Group B celebration will be on October 30th (Friday)

- Costumes will not be put on until after lunch time in most classrooms. This is to ensure they are not messed up by weather or become a distraction for the students.

- Please DO NOT send treats unless they are individually/comercially wrapped candies. We will not be handing out cupcakes, cookies or other homemade treats.

- Students will still be required to wear their mask. If they have a mask with their costume, they will not be permitted to wear it in class.
