What do we do?
The Morales Junior High Parent Teacher Organization is a non-profit organization that exists for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service, including, Morales Junior High.
Basically...
We work alongside teachers and administrators to raise money and support MJH however we can. Sometimes that is through volunteering our time, and sometimes that is through hosting events and spreading the word to friends and family. The school itself has many limitations on how and when they can raise money, but we have more freedom, allowing us to host and run as many fundraisers as we want that will directly benefit students and teachers at Morales Junior High.
Can't make it to all the meetings? That's OKAY!
We are all about digital communication! If you are worried about being able to attend meetings, but are still available to help out in any way, please sign up! The Executive Board will meet monthly, but the regular members can be active participants from afar and help out when needed and able. If you can respond to a text or e-mail...you can join!
And the best part is....YOU are taking charge and getting to work for YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL!
