Gorrie Elementary has offered violin instruction to its students for the past eleven years led by our dedicated instructor Dr. Todd Jefferis.
Did you know?
- Last year 50% of Gorrie Students participated in the strings program
- Strings are included in the weekly curriculum for all kindergarten and 1st grade students.
- Second through Fifth graders participate on a voluntary basis.
- Students have the opportunity to perform in community programs or school concerts.

We are headed back to the beginning.
Your creative kid will be studying the arts created by people in ancient cultures. Starting with Paleolithic/cave art; we will be making connections to and comparing our post-modern world to a time long long ago. Full Article

The first meeting for the Fall Festival Committee is Thursday, Sept 10 at 8:00 (after drop off) in the school cafeteria. Everyone who is interested in helping with this fun school event is invited to Join.
