Schmucker PTO Newsletter

May 2020

From the PTO

May 2020 won’t be filled with all the traditional things we are used to experiencing. This fact brings lots of emotions with it. We all did a major pivot in how we are learning and doing business and life these past weeks. As your Schmucker PTO Board, we are proud of all you. From the students, parents, staff, and everyone in between we are all doing our best to adjust and move forward as we get new information that affects our daily lives.

“Play the tiles you get.” Grandma Nelly from 365 Days of Wonder (Mr. Browne’s Book of Precepts).

It has been an honor to serve as your Board this past year. We have learned and grown as individuals and hopefully left a positive impact with the help of our amazing committee chairs and the tireless work they put in over the course of the year.

Thank you to Amy Greenlee, Nicole McCullough, Megan Fox, Magaret Herath, Amy Layman, Jill Harms, Cindy Basil, Renee Becker, Laura Christensen, and Krystal Malone.

Do all the good you can,

By all the means you can,

In all the ways you can,

In all the places you can,

At all the times you can,

To all the people you can,

As long as you ever can.

Please keep collecting physical and virtual Box Tops! Hang on to the physical ones until we start school again and turn them in to the Schmucker office then! Thanks for all your work on this! Every little bit helps!

The Parent Teacher Organization at Schmucker Middle School plays a vital role in supplementing the educational experiences of our children. The funds raised by the PTO allow our students to have opportunities not funded by the school budget.
