Director's Corner

Hello Blossoms' Families!

As we enter this holiday season of Thanksgiving, I want to remind you of how myself and the Blossoms staff are so thankful for all of you and your children. It has been a joy working with your children thus far, and we can't wait to see their growth and development in the new year. Be sure to check your child's Class DOJO for our new monthly series HTP2 (Helping the Parent, Help their Pupil). This series is designed to give you ideas on how you can help your students practice and master certain skills at home.

As a reminder, I have an open door policy. Feel free to email me at twalton@d168.org should you need anything at all.

For our children,

Director Walton

Spirit Week

November 15th-19th kicked off Spirit Week at Blossoms. Students enjoyed showing their school spirit in black and yellow attire. They also participated by showing their love for diversity with rainbow day. The students showed their aspirations on career day by dressing up as their career choice. Health and wellness was center stage as students wore their workout clothing and relaxed on an additional day in their pajamas.

Picture Day- Monday, November 29th

Be sure to send your child to school with a big smile on Monday, November 29th- It's picture day! Families will receive an email from HR Imaging regarding orders for pictures. The email will contain the students' proof. Parents will be able to order directly from the website.

Traffic Flow

Thank you so much for complying with our new traffic flow pattern. I think we have figured out a way to stop the bottleneck on 215th pl. and Olivia. Please remind individuals that are picking up your child about the new traffic pattern. There may be days when no one can be at Jeffrey, that's when I need my families to step up and do the right thing when no one is looking.

As a reminder, during arrival and dismissal, no traffic should enter 215th pl. from Jeffrey. All cars should flow northbound on Cynthia and Olivia to 215th pl. If cars need to park, they should park on Cynthia or Olivia or on the north side of 215th pl. There is no parking on both sides of the street on 215th pl.
