Striving for a better tomorrow!
CARE (Cooperative for the American Remittances to Europe) was founded in November 27, 1945 by 22 American charities who delivered aid to those starving because of World War II. We began to deliver millions of CARE packages across Europe. A small shipment of food and relief supplies to hungry recipients - with a huge impact on people's lives. An impact that is still being felt today as CARE continues to assist millions of women and men around the globe.
Our main goal is to help those that have been in natural disasters and supply them with either food or shelter. We also provide an education for women who want to better their future. We started out small, but with every donation we received, we made sure they go to the ones in need.
Why is helping others important?
No part of the world is perfect, some live in poverty while others are prosperous. We all have to give in order to receive. The best feeling in the world is knowing that someone has food on their plate or a place to sleep because of you. CARE accepts donations from everyone who is willing to give, everything of anything you give is truly appreciated.
