History of the Fort
The Edmonton House Fort was from the Hudson's Bay Company. It was also known as Edmonton House and Fort Sanspareil. It was in a competition with the North West Company's Fort Augustus.

The Edmonton House Fort was located by the North Saskatchewan River.
Interactions of the Fort
Even though the Edmonton House Fort was in competition with the North West Company's Fort Augustus, they worked together from 1795-1821.
What remains of the Edmonton House Fort today?
It was actually turned into a provincial park once the fur trade was done. Many people visit it every day to see what it was like.
