Don't forget these items!
There are some items that your child needs each day. Please make sure your child has these items:
- A daily snack
- Water bottle (students are unable to drink from water fountains)
- iPad (charged!)
- Headphones
- Take Home Folder
Don't forget to initial daily on your child's check off sheet and leave it in the back of their folder!
3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!!!
We are excited to announce that the Morehead Planetarium is coming to McDeeds Creek on March 10th virtually! This mission will be our grand finale to our science unit on moon phases in first grade.
This classroom field trip experience has been paid for by McDeeds Creek and will be taking place during our science block. The only thing to do to prepare for the virtual galactic trip is to get excited!

Spelling Tests (Every Friday)
Help your child study up with flashcards, white boards, writing, and whatever you and your child prefers!
Homework? YES! We need your help!
Please help your child study their spelling words! Information is above!
Reading everyday! Log on to RAZ Kids and listen/read/answer the questions for a book each day or you may choose to read a book that you have at home or your child's library book. Ask your child some comprehension questions to make sure they understand what they have read to you.
We are going to be sending a sheet home weekly to check off your child's completion of one book a night on RAZ Kids along with their weekly "I can" statements.
