ARE YOU SPREADING DISEASE?
by Holly Worden
Why should you care?
As teenagers, our immune systems are not as powerful as a full grown adult. That means we need to be cautious on what we do when we are sick. Things like, coughing or sneezing in your elbow, staying abstinent or using appropriate birth control, and washing our hands can keep diseases from spreading and mutating! As a disease progresses it can mutate and become immune to simple fixes and the symptoms can also become more serious!
Wash your hands!
Washing your hands is your first line of defense against these small critters. When you wash your hands, it can remove and kill deadly viruses and bacteria from entering your body!
