Report Cards Are In Backpacks Today!

Dear Loveland Families,

Let me begin by wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with many successes and new opportunities. During winter break, I hope you had the chance to catch up with friends and family and enjoyed some rest and relaxation. I certainly spent time reflecting on 2022 and thinking about the work and opportunities that lie ahead in 2023.

I am thrilled to begin our work for the second half of the school year to ensure amazing teaching and learning continues. As we ring in the new year, we see this as an opportunity to check students' academic progress and prepare them for the second semester. I am excited for all the upcoming achievements, accomplishments, and milestones that will be reached this second semester of school.

Snow Play Expectations

We're excited to see that snow has arrived. Our classrooms will be taking time to review the school snow play expectations and appreciate your help in doing so at home. During the cold winter months we ask that students wear warm pants and coats. To play in the snow students should bring boots to keep feet warm and dry, snow pants to roll about in the snow, and gloves if wanting to build and dig. We want all students to be able to enjoy the fun-filled time of the year.

Pizza Hut Days

PIZZA HUT PIZZA day is on Tuesdays this year! Students may purchase extra slices from their lunch accounts if they have a positive balance in his/her account. Parents, make sure you let your child know whether you want them to have an extra slice. Extra slices are $1.20.

School Starts at 8:30 a.m.

Our instructional school day starts at 8:30 a.m. Doors are opened at 8:20 a.m. allowing students plenty of time to walk to classrooms, hang up backpacks, check in with teachers and peers, and be ready for those first important words of the day at 8:30 a.m. Give your students every advantage of a successful day by having them here at 8:20 a.m.!

First Friday Spirit Day!

Each first Friday of the month is Loveland Spirit Day. On this day we all wear our Loveland logo wear or school colors, blue and white, to show our spirit.

Keep Us From Getting LOST!

Please make sure to mark all jackets, lunch pails, backpacks and other student items with their NAME in case they are left around the building or out at recess. This helps us get them back to the right owner.

Wednesday Dismissal

Every Wednesday we will end the school day at 3:00 pm instead of 3:30 pm. This gives our teachers throughout the District collaboration time by attending weekly professional learning communities. Please plan accordingly to pick your child up at 3PM.
