Important Message about Expensive Items

After the winter break, we made a request that students refrain from bringing expensive items to school. This includes, but is not limited to, Apple AirPods. Unfortunately, students are still bringing these items to school, and we continue to have cases of our students' loaning and misplacing these coveted items. Please understand that if these items go missing, the school can not be held responsible. While the administration has been making a reasonable effort to assist students with their recovery, due to the Airpods' small size, we often have not been successful. Regrettably, these items are often lost for good.

Please help us and your child by insisting that your child leave these items at home.

Important Information: Absences and AIR Testing at the JH

Sycamore Junior High will administer the AIR assessments on April 15, 16, 22, 23 and 29.

Please mark these dates on your calendars and make every effort not to schedule your child for appointments or vacation days.

If you know your child will be absent due to religious observances or will be otherwise unavoidably absent, please contact Lesli Lally at 686-1760 x2502 or lallyl@sycamoreschools.org as soon as possible so arrangements can be made. Thank you.

Reminder of Cell Phone Policy

As a reminder to students and parents, cell phones are to be turned off and placed in the student's locker at the beginning of the school day and not removed and turned back on until the end of the day. Thank you for cooperation and collaboration.
