Fannin County Head Start Program Goal Progress
Program Goal I: Promote school readiness through high quality instructional methods in Head Start classroom.
Expected Outcome: Head Start/preschool children will meet or exceed the Bonham ISD Head Start School Readiness goals in the domains of literacy and math.
Bailey Inglish has finished Wave 3 of CLI Engage. Reports are in the process of being run and analyzed. Raw scores for the 4 year old classrooms show 75% meeting benchmark in Letter Naming; 75.25% meeting benchmark in Rapid Vocabulary; and 92.5% meeting benchmark in Math. The reports and analysis will be presented to Policy Council and Governing Board in June.
Program Goal II: Build and enhance community and parent involvement in the Head Start and prekindergarten program.
Expected Outcome: Head Start staff and parents will be able to actively and knowledgeably articulate and advocate for the Head Start program.
Bailey Inglish encourages parents and families to participate in activities in Head Start. This enables them to be able to advocate for the Head Start Program.
