JAGUAR FUN RUN: THURSDAY, MARCH 17!
SFX Families!
WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL!!!! We helped our school raise over $30,000 so far, AND we will be able to Slime Principal Dwyer and Mr. Anderson!
Also 4th-7th grade was working hard to earn their color run and had to raise $7,500, and if they went over, they would be able to slime Mrs. Megan AND Mrs. Fournier. So far they have raised over $9,000!!!!
- 4th-7th Grade: Wear a WHITE t-shirt, appropriate athletic shorts, & tennis shoes. Bring a change of clothes, too!
- PK2-3rd Grade: Wear a green or SFX t-shirt, appropriate athletic shorts, & tennis shoes.
There is a lot to celebrate for and we are so proud of your Jaguars for working together to help their school!
Since we crushed our Goal, we would like to set a STRETCH GOAL of $35,000! And if we reach that, Mr. Anderson will dress in a Pink Bunny Costume and have to hop on command!
To help us get there, we have a bonus challenge! The top class in each grade with the most new donations tonight AND tomorrow night will earn a bonus prize for their ENTIRE class!!!
Let's finish strong, SFX Families!

FR. JOE'S TUESDAY UPDATE
SFX School Community,
Below is my Email Update for Tuesday, March 15.
Special thanks to the First graders, their parents, teachers and Ms. Dwyer for a beautiful School Family Mass on Sunday. And thanks to all who came out on Friday for our first Lenten Fish Fry. If there is a better fish and gumbo deal anywhere, I’d like to hear about it.
School Mass honoring St. Joseph is tomorrow. On Thursday, St. Patrick’s Day, we will have Boosterthon, and our school children will get a private tour and teaching about the St. Joseph Altar. The beautiful Altar will be open to all on Friday and Saturday. The St. Joseph’s Lunch is in the cafeteria on Saturday from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Next week we have the Lenten Mission and Blood Drive (please consider signing up to honor Lee Montgomery), and right around the corner are the Old Metairie Fest and Crawfish Fest.
Have a blessed week.
Father Joe
READ TO THE FINAL FOUR CHALLENGE
While we did not advance to the Elite Eight Round of the Read to the Final Four Challenge, we are so proud of our 2nd and 3rd graders for making it all the way to the Sweet Sixteen Round! Over the past four months, our students read and logged a total of 81,094 minutes, earning book marks, bracelets, and a Scholastic book for each student! Congratulations on a job well done, 2nd and 3rd grade!
The top readers for each homeroom over the past three weeks were Harlan (2B,
1183 minutes), Leif (2H, 744 minutes), Caroline (3S, 1090 minutes), and Michael (3T, 1330 minutes). The homeroom with the highest average of minutes read was 3T.
Thank you again for participating in this challenge!
