Don't Go Tattle, Come Read About Our Battle
The Battle of The Coral Sea is quite an interesting, and despite the name of the battle, it had nothing to do with coral. Just kidding, the Battle of The Coral Sea was took place in the Coral Sea, hence the name. In World War 2, Japan attempted to isolate Australia and sought to capture Port Moresby. In early May 1942, Adm. Sadamichi Kajioka led three carriers into the Coral Sea, east of New Guinea. The war only lasted for two days, but with Americas help they were able to force Japan into defeat with heavy plane damage.
