New 1Link Web Address
Fort Bend ISD wants to make you aware of a change coming to 1Link (powered by ClassLink), FBISD's single sign-on platform.
Recently, ClassLink announced the discontinuation of friendly link support due to updated security features implemented by various web browsers. Due to this action, FBISD will no longer be able to use https://1link.fortbendisd.com as the web address for 1Link access.
Effective May 15, all users must use https://launchpad.classlink.com/fbisd to access 1Link. The new link will continue to offer the same functionality as the deactivated link. Students and staff will still be able to utilize one username and password to access their digital resources and tools including Schoology, Microsoft Teams and Office 365 through 1Link.
All 1Link desktop shortcuts and bookmarks on FBISD district devices have already been redirected to https://launchpad.classlink.com/fbisd. Please be sure to update saved 1Link desktop shortcuts and bookmarks on all personal devices as FBISD cannot make the update on privately owned devices.
For more information about 1Link, please visit www.fortbendisd.com/1link.
Laptop Returns!!!
This note is for all parents of THS face-to-face students who have checked out an FBISD laptop from Travis at any point since the Spring of 2020. If your face-to-face student is still in possession of their district laptop, please have them return it to the front office as soon as possible. Again, this is for parents of face-to-face students. If you are concerned about your student having a device to use during school, please be assured that we have ample devices in each classroom to serve the school-day needs of our face-to-face students.
It is crucial that your student get their device turned in so that they can avoid being added to the Fee/Fines List.
We are accepting devices every day during school in the front office. Additionally, we are accepting drive-up deliveries of devices on the bus ramp from 3:30 until 5:30pm on:
Tuesday, May 18th
Thursday, May 20th
Tuesday, May 25th
Friday, May 28th
Tuesday, June 1st
