Sunday News from the Preschool
Message from Mrs. Kilday
Hello Rodman Families.
I am thinking of you often these days, wondering how you are holding up during our extended stay at home time, wondering how we can support you in your efforts at home. Please reach out to any of us, at anytime. We are eager to hear from you and even more eager to jump in and help out. A little further in our newsletter you will see a message from Nurse Bailey offering support. If you, or a family member, is ill please consider connecting with her. She is doing some great work in our community and has a special place in her heart for our Rodman families.
In our efforts to best meet your needs, several of our classrooms are conducting surveys to gather some feedback. Please take the time to complete those. It will help us to plan better.
This week's Sunday Story time is sure to be a hit:) You get a little picture into the kilday house this week. I hope you and your children are enjoying these as much as I am.
I hope you find moments of joy in your week.
News From Ms.Anna
On Tuesday, May 5th at 7:30 p.m. we will be continuing our Rodman parent/caregiver zoom meetings. Our goal is to provide a space where you can come together as a community of parents and caregivers. Come share your triumphs and your frustrations in navigating our new stay-at-home lifestyle. Maybe you’ll learn a helpful tip from another parent, or maybe your support will help reassure another family that they are doing okay.
We had a small turnout for our first meeting last week, but we received feedback that families felt this was a great opportunity to connect with each other and the Rodman community.
This is a very flexible group and we will be available for the whole hour, so feel free to drop in a little later if you need to manage bedtime first. Also kids are always welcome to hang out with us during the meeting!
Please click this link to register if you are interested in joining us either this week or for future zoom meetings. We look forward to chatting with you!
Nursing News
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that I have been volunteering at the Canton Board of Health helping Cindy Bonner, our Public Health Nurse. In that role I connect with recently diagnosed COVID-19 patients, interview them or their family members, and do contact tracing. I follow them until they are out of isolation and their contacts are out of quarantine. I have learned a lot and continue to as the guidelines change.
I know that everything you need to know is out there - it is absolutely on the CDC website, Mass.gov, etc. But should you want to run a situation by me or ask for advice I am here for you. I am also here for our families and happy to connect with any of them to provide additional support.
Be well and miss you all!!
Bailey
