June PD Institute

This year, the June PD Institute will be held at Carlmont High School

Following the enormous success of last year's Institute, the SUHSD presents its 2nd Annual PD Institute, a week of compensated professional development for our teachers presented by our teachers. Later in the week there will be time for curriculum collaboration. Read descriptions and sign up for PD on Sched.org! For curriculum work, talk with your Department Chair about submitting brief proposals.

Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM each day

Breakfast snacks provided each day and lunch will be on your own.

Important Information

1) Session are capped! You will see a maximum of 20-30 participants for each session. First come, first served. These caps are necessary to stay within the budget for the institute.


2) Strands: You will see several strands (literacy, NGSS, formative assessment, etc.). For some sessions, such as Complex Instruction, you must sign up for the full two days. For others, you have the option to sign up for individual sessions or the whole strand. You can sign up for 1-3 sessions per day. The purpose is to create themes for workshops that tie together and will support learning and application.


3) Curriculum Work: Right now the schedule only shows PD sessions. Curriculum sessions will be added after spring break.
