Notes for a New Week
March 10-24
United Way - 2nd Place!
Don't forget - the campus/department with the highest percentage of employees participating will have Kurbside Sweets treats, courtesy of LCISD!
AND...
If we are able to reach 75% staff participation of Central employees, we'll be teaming up with the Sunshine Committee to provide breakfast for all staff members on Friday, March 24.
Sandra Jimenez is Joining the Central Family!
Beginning March 21, Sandra will be at Central every Tuesday and Thursday for the remainder of the school year.
Sandra's office will be located directly across from the front office. Please make sure to swing by after Spring Break and welcome her to our campus! We are delighted to have some additional administrative support available for our teachers and students.

Classroom Coverage
As a reminder, we will accommodate coverage of classes/duties for 2 hours once per six weeks in order to accommodate doctor's appointments or other non-flexible obligations inside the assigned workday. Please note that it is not possible for us to cover your assignment for other requests. After coverage has been provided once during the six weeks, any further “appointment coverage” will require a doctor’s note or will require the staff member to take leave (via Aesop/Skyward) to allow for the appointment.
In order to schedule coverage and make plans regarding the employee's assigned responsibilities, we ask that you give us one week's notice to prepare. Requests made less than one week in advance may no longer be covered by campus staff and Aesop leave could be required for your absence.
Please email Mrs. Parrish (kparrish@lcisd.net) and Mrs. Cross (ccross@lcisd.net) to make us aware of your request and allow us to plan coverage at your earliest convenience.
Thank you again for your commitment to Central Elementary and our kiddos!
