Husky Families,
What a great week we had! Our 4th and 5th grade Battle of the Books team took 3rd place in the county competition this past Thursday. They represented Hillandale so well and I am so proud of all their hard work. We also announced our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Purdy! Our staff and her students were so excited to honor her in this way. Our students also took their check-in assessments this past week and did a great job. Those can be a little stressful but we saw gains in all areas...so Go Huskies!!! Looking forward to another great week!

Mrs. Purdy teaches in our K-2nd grade intensive intervention class and has been named our teacher of the year! This is a well-deserved honor and we are so happy to have Mrs. Purdy as part of our Husky team.

April 11th- Kindergarten Readiness Rally: We will be hosting our annual Kindergarten Readiness Rally at 5:30 on the 11th. Any families with new kindergarteners are welcome!
April 13th- Family Play Day and Book Fair: We will be having a family play day on Thursday the 13th starting at 4:30. Come and play and buy some books at the book fair!
