Meet me at the movies!
Third graders around the county are given the opportunity to attend The Nutcracker Ballet performed by the Knox Concert Series by way of several community sponsors. This year a few of KSE's own third graders had the opportunity to not only view The Nutcracker Ballet, but to also see The Nutcracker: The Four Realms on the Big Screen. This was a wonderful opportunity to bond with their class families and get a little lesson in on compare and contrast.
Meet Me at the Movies fun with Mr. Caldwell's and Mrs. McCombs' classes.
It was a family affair for Class Mac.
Mrs. Real's class enjoyed Meet Me at the Movies before Thanksgiving
KSE third grader Ana Strain played a part on stage during Friday's performance.

WINTER STEM FEST 2018
Such a fantastic evening of learning and parent involvement at KSES! Winter STEM Fest 2018 was a HIT I would say! We don’t have a true count, but we estimated around 300+ people that came through! A huge thanks to the dedicated teachers, administrators, JHS, JSU School of Engineering & Robotics, the School of Science (Astronomy), the AMSTI Science Ladies, the local sponsors who helped with the T-shirts, the KSE PTO, the volunteers (including JHS Science students who ran their own stations), the runners, media/photographers, and the amazing parents and kids who supported STEM for ALL! Way to show out Jacksonville City Schools!
