Our Learning Targets

Math: We can find products of numbers using an efficient strategy.

Science: We can differentiate among forms of energy, including mechanical, sound, electrical, light and thermal.

Reading: We can identify the theme of the story.

Writing: We can write an organized piece of writing and revise for word choice, voice, and sentence fluency. We can use contractions correctly in our writing. (Writing Prompt- Write about one animal you think would make the best pet. Explain what makes this animal special to you. )

Social Studies: We can explain the importance of Texas Independence Day and the Texas Declaration of Independence.​

Reminders from Nurse Jenny

Cold and flu season are here. Please remember that if students have a temperature they need to stay home until they have been fever free for 24 hours without any medication. That policy also includes if they have been vomiting or if they have diarrhea. Please encourage hand washing!

It is a good practice to check your student regularly for lice. If you are not sure how to do that the following link has a lot of helpful information

Please report to the nurse if your student has the flu, strep, a fever or lice. All information is kept confidential.
