Work HARD! Dream BIG! Believe in YOURSELF! Never GIVE UP!

Volume 2 - Issue 16 - November 18, 2019

Message from the Principal

Congratulations to our SCPA Band and Drama programs for their excellent performances last week. Our Drama students put on an awesome show on Thursday and Friday as they performed their interpretation of The Internet is Ditract - OH LOOK A KITTEN! by Ian McWethy. The play was hilarious and our students did an amazing job. Kudos to Ms. Agosto for preparing our students for an awesome show.

Our Band program also had an awesome night this past Thursday, performing in the SUHSD Fall Band Showcase at San Ysidro High School. Under the direction of Mr. Llamas, our students combined with all SUHSD Middle School Band programs to blanket the entire football field and put on an awesome show.

Check out some of the pictures from the play and band showcase!

Thank you for your hard work, dedication and remember;

At CVM we work HARD, we dream BIG, we believe in OURSELVES and we never, ever , GIVE UP!

Wellness Tip of the Week!

This week’s wellness tip from the counseling center is gratitude. As we get ready for thanksgiving, think of what you are grateful for in your life. Consider what you’re actually grateful for, take a moment to picture each one in your mind and ask yourself, why are you grateful for this? Can you feel the experience of that gratitude in your body?

Not only will practicing gratitude feel good in the moment, but studies have found that doing so can strengthen your relationships and your mental health in the long run.
