This was a great week at Cucinella! The PTO provided us with our first opportunity in two years to have an in-person assembly with The Signature Project with Patrick Dunning which everyone loved - students and staff alike! To quote feedback from one of our teachers, "His visit was filled with messages of purpose, perseverance, creativity, out of the box thinking, and a focus on STEM learning. He left us with a feeling of excitement for the incredible world around us, as well as our interlaced journeys we all will have throughout our many paths in life." Thank you again, PTO, for providing us with such an incredible experience!

Student artwork will be displayed, Optional student music performances will be on stage and a make and take art project will be offered in the gym. Enjoy the Arts at BAC with your child!

Signature Project Assembly

On Tuesday morning, April 5th, the talented artist Patrick Dunning left quite an impression on our students and staff when he performed "The Signature Project". Everyone was amazed with his huge mural that stands 76ft x 36ft. It is painted not in brush strokes but in millions of signatures in a beautiful spectrum of color.

Patrick explained the creation and purpose of his ongoing mural that when complete will consist of 171 canvases layered with hidden secrets. Patrick Dunning showed how he uses math, science, technology, music, visual arts and cultural diversity in creating his mural.

His visit was filled with messages of discovery, perseverance and achievement. He left us with a feeling of excitement for the incredible world around us, as well as our interlaced journeys we all will have throughout our many paths in life.

This educational program was sponsored by the PTO and is funded by the fundraising events that are held throughout the school year. It is all possible because of your support so we want to say, “Thank you!”

Please note that without a President and Treasurer our Parent Teacher Organization will have to disband. Our group organizes events such as Trunk or Treat, assemblies, author visits, coordinates Teacher Appreciation Week, provides grant opportunities and plenty other activities and events for your children.

The Cucinella PTO is again collaborating with Ort Farms on a Plant Sale supporting our Courtyard Garden. Spring Picnic Planning Committee

The PTO is looking for a group of volunteers to plan some ideas for our Spring Picnic which we are delighted to have back this year on Friday, June 10th!!! We will need assistance with:

• DJ/Entertainment (In the past we have had face painting, etc.)
• Food vendor (food truck or something different?)
• Ticket sales for the Off Premise 50/50 raffle and On Premise prize raffle (gift cards and Kendra Scott Jewelry)
