Monthly Mass with Prayers for Healing - Labor Day September 2nd at 6:30 pm

Young people are especially invited to join us on the first Monday of the month as we celebrate Mass at 6:30 p.m. followed by prayers for healing. We pray for healing of body, mind, spirit, memories, relationships and whatever else you would like to bring to Jesus for healing. Please join us to pray for yourself or to stand on proxy for someone you know who would benefit from all our prayers.

Sunday Youth Nites begin September 15th!

We resume next Sunday, September 8th at 8:30 AM in the Parish Youth Room. We will continue to explore our theme of “Blessed, Broken and Given” and will meet our friends from the Southeast Catholic Community who will be journeying with us to Indianapolis!

The training consists of a video and reflection questions that cover topics such as the purpose of Youth Ministry, ways that you can protect yourself as a volunteer, signs that a young person is experiencing a crisis, and how to handle a young person in crisis. Weeding SPX Office Garden

The Building and Grounds Committee is looking for a few people to weed the new garden by the SPX Office staircase. They have planted vinca vine in the gardens this year (see center photo above) but it will be a couple of seasons before it grows enough to fill in the gardens. Helpers are needed to clear out anything that isn't the vinca vine. You can work at your own pace and according to your own schedule. Just toss the weeds on to the grassy slope where they'll be composted by weekly mowing. If you need service paperwork completed contact me or the Parish Office.
