Counseling with Ms. Lundy
Congrats to our Leadership Trait winner, Caroline Netto! This month, our Leadership Trait is GRIT, which means not giving up when things get tough. You can show GRIT by giving your all, redoing if needed, not giving up, and taking the time to do it right. Please be sure to talk to your child about GRIT at home, and help them complete their Tic-Tac Toe Activity to be placed in a drawing to be rewarded with a special treat!
SAVE THE DATE: Career Day is February 2, 2018. Be on the lookout for the signup to be posted very soon! We need YOU to volunteer to make this event a great learning opportunity for our students. J
Physical Education with Mr. Abel and Mr. Sylvester
Hello CCES families,
We are just finishing up our basketball unit where we worked on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, and shooting. Last week we had a special presentation from Luke Gramith from Team USA World Sport Stacking Association. Luke is a world class cup stacker and showed the students how cup stacking can improve your hand eye coordination, quickness, and concentration. More information can be found at www.thewssa.com. Check out some of Luke's videos at Youtube.
We hope everyone has a safe, happy, and healthy winter break and a Happy New Year!!
